With an XBB Dongle it is super easy to connect extra lights to modern cars with CANBUS. You no longer need to splice, solder, cut or make other interventions on the vehicle when it comes to canbus connection. This complete XBB kit consists of an XBB Dongle which is mounted in the vehicle's OBDII socket and an XBB PowerUnit relay. The relay communicates with the XBB dongle wirelessly via Bluetooth, which means that you do not need to run cables between the engine compartment and the passenger compartment.
The XBB PowerUnit unit has two outputs that you can easily program yourself by using the XBB app which is available for download in both the App Store and Google Play. For example, you can use output no. 1 (max 15A) for auxiliary lights / auxiliary light ramp and then use output no. 2 (max 5A) for position lights.
